You will find your first Sonance Casket on a quest “Remnants of the Past Days“. This quest shows you how the Casket Delivery system works and gives you a new way to get valuable items.

What are Sonance Caskets?

Sonance Caskets are small glowing cubes you can find while exploring the world in Wuthering Waves. You’re likely to come across your first one just outside Jinzhou during your first quest.

You can collect Sonance Caskets by walking up to them and interacting with them. Make sure to collect any you see, as they are valued by specific Merchants across the world.

Sonance Caskets are energy entities that contain records of the past. Essentially, they are data fragments filled with knowledge and history. Once collected, you can exchange them with Chenpi, the Relic merchant, for various valuable items such as Astrite, Lustrous Tides, and more.

How to Use Sonance Caskets in Wuthering Waves?

You can trade Sonance Caskets with Relic Merchants in Wuthering Waves. These specialist Merchants are marked with a small robot-like icon above their heads.

The first Relic Merchant you’ll meet is Chenpi in Jinzhou. We highly recommend visiting him after collecting your first Casket.

When you speak to a Relic Merchant, you can choose to trade any Sonance Caskets you’ve collected for items and currency. Each time you trade in some Sonance Caskets with a merchant, your ‘Level’ will increase. As your level increases, the number of Caskets required for each trade will also increase.

For example, your first visit to Chenpi requires one Sonance Casket for rewards, but the second visit requires three.

Trading in Sonance Caskets is highly worthwhile, as you often receive high-tier items and substantial amounts of currency. The items you will receive for reaching your next trade-in target are shown at the bottom of the menu on the left side of your screen while talking to a Relic Merchant.
