In the 2018 hit Red Dead Redemption 2, players took on the role of Arthur Morgan, a key member of Dutch van der Linde’s gang.
The story served as a prequel to the original Red Dead Redemption (2010), which followed John Marston as he tried to leave his outlaw past behind.
Both games introduced a host of memorable characters, and one of them has sparked debate among fans: Sadie Adler.
Sadie Adler, a loyal friend of Arthur Morgan, stood out as a fan favorite. Her character arc, from a grieving widow to a fierce bounty hunter, left a lasting impression.
Some fans believe Sadie could take center stage in the next Red Dead game.
A Reddit user, LilFern3466, posed an interesting question:
“RDR3 – What if we played as Sadie Adler? The end of RDR2 left her fate open to speculation. I loved her presence in the game and how close she became to Arthur. What do you guys think?”
They added that a quick Google search suggests Sadie might have left for South America after Red Dead Redemption 2.

One fan replied, “Sadie is great, but I don’t think there’s enough story for a full game. A single-player DLC would’ve been perfect. If they make another Red Dead game, I hope they explore something beyond the Dutch van der Linde gang.”

As of now, Rockstar Games hasn’t officially announced Red Dead Redemption 3. Given that GTA 6 is expected to launch in late 2025, it’s likely we’ll be waiting quite a while for the next Red Dead installment.
