Finding Wool and turning it into Cloth can be confusing, but don’t worry, in this article, I will show you How to Get Wool in Palworld.

How to Get Wool in Palworld?

Depending on where you are in the game, some methods for getting Wool and Cloth might not be available, and others might seem too harsh. Let’s explore each option so you can choose the best one for you.

Find and Kill Pals

The simplest way to get Wool is by finding and killing certain Pals. Early in the game, this might be your only option. Not all Pals drop Wool, but a few do:

  • Cremis
  • Lamball
  • Melpaca

Lamballs are the most common and easiest to find, especially in the early locations. You can spot them during the day in grassy areas, and you don’t even need a weapon to kill them.

However, Wool isn’t guaranteed to drop every time, so you might need to kill a few Lamballs to collect enough Wool.

As a beginner, you can use this Wool to make Cloth and craft useful items like a Parachute or a new outfit.

Build a Ranch

If you’ve advanced to at least level 5 in the Technology tab, you can unlock the Ranch structure for a more automated approach. To build a Ranch, you’ll need:

Once the Ranch is set up on your base, use your Pal Spheres to catch Lamballs instead of killing them.

Place the Lamballs in the Ranch, and you’ll have an automated Wool farm that occasionally produces Wool.

Buy Wool from Wandering Merchant

Another method is buying Wool from Wandering Merchants. These NPCs travel around the world and occasionally visit your base, selling various goods.

There’s a chance they might have Wool for sale at 100 Gold each. However, since Wandering Merchants are rare, this method isn’t very reliable. It’s usually better to stick with hunting Lamballs.

How To Get Cloth in Palworld?

Now that you’ve gathered a bunch of Wool, it’s time to turn it into Cloth. Head to the Technology menu and unlock the Cloth material, which becomes available at level 3.

Once you’ve done that, you can start crafting Cloth using your Wool. Simply go to the nearest workbench, and you’ll find the option to craft Cloth.

Cloth is super important for making outfits for your character, so it’s a crucial material to have on hand.
