How to Get to Scorpion River Catacombs in Shadow of the Erdtree?
Getting to the Scorpion River Catacombs will take some time and you’ll face many enemies on the way. But don’t worry, you can just ride past them on Torrent without fighting.
Start at the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace. From there, head northeast towards a small triangular-shaped body of water.
When you get there, you’ll see a Statue of Marika and a cave. Enter the cave and go forward until you find some Perfumer enemies near a giant tree. Turn right and jump out of the cave into the poison swamp.
Keep going north through the swamp until you reach the marked area on the map below.
Next, head west until you reach the Rauh Base region. The Ancient Ruins Base Site of Grace is close by, so activate it if you want.
From here, go southeast until you get to the Temple Town Ruins. Instead of going through the ruins, head north and follow the small river upstream. The white marker on the map shows where you need to go, and the red arrow points to the river you should follow.
Keep following the river, avoiding the centipede-like enemies, until you see a door with lit torches.
This is the entrance to the Scorpion River Catacombs. Open the door and go inside. Here is the location on the in-game map:
Once you’re inside, take the elevator down and activate the Site of Grace so you can fast-travel here later.

You can find the Black Knight Captain Huw Spirit Ash in the first room with ceiling spikes.

Imp Head (Lion)
The Imp Head (Lion) helmet gives you +2 Vigor, boosting your health.
You can find it on a high platform near the first ceiling spikes you come across in the Scorpion River Catacombs.
Knight’s Lightning Spear
The Knight’s Lightning Spear is a new incantation that lets you throw multiple Lightning Spears at your enemies.
To find it, cross the ledge to the room next to the Deathblight Eyes.
Great Ghost Glovewort
The Great Ghost Glovewort is a valuable item for upgrading your Spirit Ashes to +10.
You can find one after the room with the giant Bigmouth Imp.
Death Knight’s Longhaft Axe and Cerulean Amber Medallion +3
You can get the Death Knight’s Longhaft Axe and the Cerulean Amber Medallion +3 by defeating the Death Knight at the end of the dungeon.
