Do you want to know How to Get to Cerulean Coast in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree?

Get to Cerulean Coast in Shadow Of The Erdtree

This massive expansion takes you into the Shadow Realm, a land with towering mountains, eerie landscapes, and quiet coastlines.

The Shadow Realm is more vertical than the base game, so you’ll often need to navigate hidden paths beneath cliffs to explore new areas.

The Cerulean Coast is one of these places. It’s a hauntingly beautiful seaside area just south of where you start. Getting there involves a long and winding journey.

In this article, I will show you How to Get to Cerulean Coast in Shadow Of The Erdtree?

To Get to Cerulean Coast in the Southern Shore region, start by heading towards Castle Ensis. When you reach the Site of Grace called ‘Castle Front’, go east instead of entering the castle. Follow the path down the hill, past the fighting trolls.

This route also lets you bypass Castle Ensis and head to Scadu Altus. Follow the slope all the way down, then turn left at the end.

As you go through the poison bog, look for a large Miranda Sprout. You’ll find a path to your left here.

Take it, but be careful of the demi-human militiamen hiding in the tall grass. They throw poison bombs and their scythes can cause blood loss.

At the bottom of the slope, you’ll see a large crab and another Miranda Sprout near a cave entrance.

Use Torrent to rush past them. Be careful around the Miranda Sprout as it releases poison clouds when you get close.

Enter the cave, light your lantern, and climb the rocky ledges on your left. There’s a corpse hanging over the edge above you with a Deep-Purple Lily.

Continue deeper into the cave, ride through the shallows, and find the Revered Spirit Ash by the statue. You’ll also come across the Site of Grace ‘Ellac River Cave’. Activate it and exit to the main Ellac Riverbed.

You have two options here. Heading north leads to Rivermouth Cave, where you can fight Chief Bloodfiend for a new Spirit Ash summon. However, to reach the Cerulean Coast, go south towards the waterfall.

Summon Torrent to jump onto the rocky outcrops in the ravine.

After two jumps, you’ll find a corpse with the Greater Potentate’s Cookbook. Keep descending, avoiding bird monsters on the ledges, and collect the Somber Smithing Stone from another corpse.

As you continue, you’ll find another Site of Grace and a friendly ghost NPC who talks about a coffin that can take passengers on a “gentle cruise to the velvet garden of deepest purple.” This is part of Thiollier’s questline.

For now, keep going down the right side of the ravine using Torrent. When the water levels out into a lake, cross it while avoiding the lightning goats.

Continue past the Furnace Golem, cross the river again, and head southwest up the gentle slope.

You’ll see fields of blue grass at the foot of the cave, which means you’ve reached the Cerulean Coast.

Congratulations!

Now you can explore this important sub-region of the Southern Shore. Ride south to find the map fragment stele and another Miquella’s Cross location.

Head east to face Demi-Human Queen Marigga, who drops the magic-infused Star-Lined Sword. There’s also a hidden area, the Stone Fissure Coffin, to discover.

Enjoy exploring!
