In Helldivers 2, you can unlock many different weapons, and each one helps you play in a specific way that suits your style. The game gives you a lot of choices, and as you keep playing, even more options will become available.

But, you won’t have access to all these weapons right from the start. To get more weapons, you need to prove to Super Earth Command that you deserve them by performing well in the game.

You can unlock several extra weapons in Helldivers 2, and some are better than others. You’ll unlock different types of weapons, like Primary, Secondary, and Support weapons, in different ways.

In this article, I will show you How to Get New Guns in Helldivers 2.

How to Unlock Weapons in Helldivers 2?

To get more primary and secondary weapons in Helldivers 2, you’ll need to spend Medals at Warbonds in the Acquisitions Center.

This is different from the first game, where you unlocked most guns and stratagems by leveling up or completing missions. Now, you need to be careful about how you use your Medals, and you won’t have to do missions that are too easy for you.

You can access the Acquisitions Center whenever you’re on a ship. Just press the button that appears at the top of the screen (R, Square, or X, depending on what you’re using). This will open the store screen with the Warbonds tab as the home page.

How to Equip New Weapons in Helldivers 2?

Once you’ve found the weapon you want, let’s say it’s the Breaker on page four, you can equip it in two ways.

The first method is at your ship’s Armory, located between the hangar and bridge. Open the ‘Weaponry’ tab, and there you can equip a primary and secondary weapon. These will be your default weapons for each mission.

The second way is to choose your gear before a mission begins. Press the button or key next to ‘Stratagems’ to enter the equipment menu, where you can change your gear.
