How to Get High Quality Pal Oil in Palworld?

You can get high quality Pal Oil from these Pals:

There may be more Pals that drop the oil, but these are the ones we know so far. We found that Digtoise and Dumud in the desert biome were the best for farming oil.

You can also keep Dumud at your base on a ranch to produce high quality Pal Oil over time.

This method is good for stocking up on oil, but if you need it quickly, you’ll want to hunt these Pals.

Make sure to wear heat-resistant gear when traveling in the desert.

When you reached around level 25, you should started hunting Relaxaurus here:

Relaxaurus hits hard, so come prepared. We prefer Relaxaurus because there’s a fast travel spot (Ascetic Falls) near where they spawn, unlike the desert Pals.

You’ll get high quality Pal Oil whether you catch or kill these Pals.

For maximum efficiency, catch the Pals to get the initial drop and then butcher them for an extra oil drop. To butcher Pals, unlock the meat cleaver at level 12.

How to Farm High Quality Pal Oil in Palworld?

Out of the Pals listed above, Mammorest and Relaxaurus usually give the most High Quality Pal Oil per battle, around 3 each.

These Pals are tougher than the others, so make sure your weapons and Pals are ready.

Relaxaurus is both a Dragon and Water Pal, so it’s weak against Electric and Ice Pals.

I had good luck finding pairs of them near The Ascetic Falls waypoint, west of the spawning area.

When hunting Relaxaurus for High Quality Pal Oil, have a Cryolinx or Orserk Pal on your team.

Orserk has a Partner Skill that makes Water Pals drop more loot, and Cryolinx makes Dragon Pals drop more loot.

This boosts your High Quality Pal Oil yield. You can find Cryolinx by Unthawable Lake or buy them from Black Marketeers.

Orserk is rarer and found in the No.3 Wildlife Sanctuary. Alternatively, you can farm Woolipop for one oil each.

They are easier to defeat and plentiful around the Ravine Entrance waypoint in the Bamboo Groves. You can also buy oil directly, as mentioned below.

If you prefer not to battle Pals for High Quality Pal Oil, you can buy it from the Wandering Merchant in Duneshelter, located in the Dessicated Desert. This is the easiest method for obtaining the oil without fighting.

The Wandering Merchant, recognizable by his bright red outfit, sells High Quality Pal Oil for 300 gold coins per pot.

You can buy as many pots as you need. Using a mount to reach Duneshelter is recommended.

Keep in mind, the Pals in this area are over level 30, so ensure you are well-prepared and leveled up before traveling to the Dessicated Desert.
