Duplicating Remembrances in Elden Ring requires careful planning. There are many bosses that drop Remembrances, but only a few places where you can duplicate their rewards.

Because of this, you may need to defeat some bosses again to get all possible rewards, which is where New Game+ becomes useful.

The same applies to the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. It includes more Remembrance bosses than we expected, but still, there are only three places to duplicate their drops.

These duplication areas, except for one, are just as tricky to reach as the walking mausoleums in the main game.

Note: there are spoilers ahead, especially about the Count Ymir quest.

How to Duplicate Remembrances in Shadow of the Erdtree?

In Shadow of the Erdtree, there are 3 places where you can duplicate Remembrances, all connected to the Finger Ruins from the Count Ymir quest, which starts at the Cathedral of Manus Metyr.

First, you can use sarcophagi in the Realm of Shadow to duplicate Remembrances. The first one you’ll likely find is in the moat around the Cathedral of Manus Metyr in Scadu Altus.

You can also use any remaining Walking Mausoleums from the base game to duplicate Shadow of the Erdtree Remembrances.

To reach the Cathedral, head to Scadu Altus, which you’ll likely access after facing Rellana at Castle Ensis.

From Castle Ensis, go east to Moorth Ruins, where you’ll meet Dryleaf Dane. Continue east through Bonny Village.

When you reach the Bridge Leading to Village Site of Grace, head north and then west along the path to arrive at the Cathedral.

Expect some interesting events along the way. At the Cathedral, speak with Count Ymir and his knight, Jolan.

Ymir will send you to a ‘hallowed ruin’ and give you a map and a Hole Laden Necklace. This ruin is where you’ll find the next Remembrance duplicator.

The hallowed ruin is south, accessible from the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion. To get there, go east from Castle Ensis’ front gate to Pillar Path Waypoint Site of Grace.

Follow the lower path east, past the headless dragon statues, until you find the Dragon’s Pit cave on your left.

Navigate through the cave, defeat the boss, and proceed to Dragon’s Pit Terminus. Continue straight to the water, turn right, and you’ll find the Grand Altar.

From there, head south and east to the Finger Ruins of Rhia Site of Grace, where you’ll find the sarcophagus for duplicating a Remembrance.

While at the ruins, use the Hole Laden Necklace to advance Count Ymir’s quest. Visit him before going to the third duplicator to complete his next quest steps.

Ymir will give you another map leading to the next Finger Ruins and the final Remembrance duplicator.

The last Finger Ruins and Remembrance duplicator are north, past the Hinterlands. To get there, use the O Mother gesture north of Bonny Village in front of the Statue of Marika by the Shadow Keep Back Gate Site of Grace.

Navigate through the Hinterlands, cross the bridge to the northeast, and reach Fingerstone Hill, where the duplicator is located along with the Two Fingers gesture.

Each sarcophagus can only be used once to duplicate a Remembrance, so choose carefully which rewards you want to duplicate.
