If you’re playing Star Wars Outlaws and need to know how to clear your Wanted level, this guide will help you get out of trouble when the Empire’s on your tail.
Surviving in the Outer Rim isn’t easy, and getting on the Empire’s bad side can make things even tougher.
Fortunately, there are several ways to reduce your Wanted level in Star Wars Outlaws. You can even lower it while flying through space in your Trailblazer.
In this article, I will show you how you can clear your Wanted level in Star Wars Outlaws.
How to Clear Wanted Level in Star Wars Outlaws
There are 4 main methods to clear your Wanted level:
- Run Fast, Run Far
- Slice an Imperial Terminal
- Bribe a Corrupt Imperial Officer
- Hack an Imperial Satellite
1. Run Fast, Run Far
This method works best if your Wanted level is low. If you’re in this situation, you can simply leave the area and stay out of sight of any Storm Troopers or Imperials.
If you manage to stay hidden long enough, they’ll eventually stop searching for you.
2. Slice an Imperial Terminal
Slicing (or hacking) an Imperial Terminal is a good way to lower your Wanted level no matter how high it is. These terminals are marked on your world map once you discover them.
Be careful, though, there are usually Storm Troopers and Imperial Officers nearby. It’s a good idea to either sneak up to the Terminal or quietly take out nearby enemies before you start slicing.
Once you’re in the clear, hack the Terminal like you would a computer, solve the puzzle, and your Wanted level will drop.
3. Bribe a Corrupt Imperial Officer
On most planets, you can find Corrupt Imperial Officers who are willing to lower your Wanted level in exchange for Credits.
For instance, on Toshara, there’s one in Mirogana, just southeast of Makal’s Gambling Parlor. Their locations will be marked on the map.
Simply talk to them, agree to their price, and they’ll take care of your Wanted level from the inside.
4. Hack an Imperial Satellite
If you’re in space and need to clear your Wanted level, you can hack an Imperial Satellite. These are marked on your Orbit map.
Make sure you’re not under attack when you start the hack, as it needs to be uninterrupted.
Fly close to the satellite until the ‘Hack’ prompt appears, use the command, and wait for the process to finish. Once it’s done, your Wanted level will decrease.
How to Check Your Wanted Level in Star Wars Outlaws
You’ll know your Wanted level is rising when a warning sign pops up on your screen, alarms start blaring, and ‘WANTED’ flashes across your screen, usually after you’ve done something the Empire doesn’t like, such as shooting multiple Storm Troopers.
To check your current Wanted level, look at the icon in the top left corner of your screen. This will show your level with the Empire, and if you keep causing trouble (which, let’s face it, is pretty fun), you’ll see it increase.
