Once you make your Main Pawn at the start of the game, you can’t swap them out later. They’ll be your buddy all the way through.

How to Change Main Pawn Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
Head to the Vocation Guilds in big towns or cities to change your main pawn’s job. It’s a lot like how you switch your job as the Arisen, just in a different section.
How to Change Your Main Pawn Specialization in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
You can switch up your main pawn’s specialty by finding and using Specialization Tomes during your adventure. But be careful, using these tomes will replace your main pawn’s current specialization!
How to Change Main Pawn Appearance in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
In big towns and cities, you’ll find Barber Shops where you can give your Main Pawn a makeover. For a good chunk of money, you can switch up their hairstyle, makeup, and any markings they have.
If you want a complete change, you can get your hands on the Art of Metamorphosis. This lets you redo your main pawn’s appearance entirely, almost like starting over in character creation.
The first barber you’ll meet is Clovis in Vernworth. You can find her shop near the West Vernworth Oxcart Station, so it’s pretty easy to spot!
How to Change Main Pawn Name in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
In Dragon’s Dogma 2, you can’t change your Pawn’s Name. Even though you can redo character creation through appearance changes, the name of your Main Pawn stays the same.
Unlike in Dragon’s Dogma 1, where the Art of Metamorphosis allowed name changes, this feature isn’t available in DD2.
