To get Chirurgeon specialization for your main pawn in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll need to find the Chirurgeon Tome. First, there’s a short questline to complete.

Start by helping a little girl near the shop in Melve town. Buy her the Fruit Roborant medicine, or if you already have it, give it to her. She’ll be thankful and promise a reward in Vernworth’s capital city.

When you reach Vernworth, you’ll learn the girl is Auriol’s daughter, a merchant. Find Auriol north of the Merchant Quarter, talk to him, and you’ll get his thanks along with a 20% discount on his goods. This discount comes in handy for buying items and gear.

To finally get Chirurgeon Specialization, speak to the girl one last time. She’ll give you a tome unlocking this specialization for your main pawn. Now, they can support and heal you on your adventures.

Once you’ve got the Chirurgeon’s Tome, you can switch your pawn’s specialization to Chirurgeon by using it from the Implements tab in your inventory.

Remember, these Tomes are for one-time use. Once you use it, it’s gone, and you can’t switch specializations back and forth.

Also, using the Tome replaces your pawn’s current specialization, so choose wisely before you use it.

What is Chirurgeon Specialization?

In Dragon’s Dogma 2, you can customize your AI companions, known as pawns, through specializations.

One of these specializations is the Chirurgeon specialization, which focuses on providing support and healing.

With the Chirurgeon specialization, your pawns can use healing items and buffs not only on themselves but also on your character.
