How to Get Ancient Technology Points in Palworld?

There are two ways to earn Ancient Technology Points: by defeating tower bosses or Alpha Pal bosses.

Tower Bosses

There are five tower bosses spread across Palworld. In the tutorial, you’ll face one of these bosses, Zoe and Grizzbolt.

These battles can be tough because the tower bosses have significantly more health than regular Pals and even Alpha Pals.

When you defeat a tower boss for the first time, you’ll earn five Ancient Technology Points.

Remember, you only get these points the first time you defeat each tower boss.

Alpha Pal Bosses

Palworld has 42 Alpha Pal bosses scattered throughout the game. You can encounter these bosses in the open world or in dungeon-like instances.

They might be tricky to find, but you’ll see them on your map as circle portraits.

The difficulty of Alpha Pal bosses increases as you level up. For example, an early boss like the level 11 Chillet is fairly easy to defeat.

However, higher-level bosses like the level 50 Jetragon and Frostallion are much tougher and will require you to use the “five D’s of dodgeball”: dodge, dip, duck, dive, and dodge.

When you defeat an Alpha Pal boss for the first time, you’ll earn one Ancient Technology Point.

Like with tower bosses, you only get this point the first time you defeat each Alpha Pal boss.

To check if you’ve already defeated a boss, look for a check mark over their portrait on the map. This check mark means you’ve beaten them and received the point.
