Unlike most characters in the game, she doesn’t want to kill you. In fact, she’s quite friendly and often gives you Scorpion Stew.

Sure, the stew is made from Spider Scorpions and has a pretty bad smell, but that hasn’t stopped the Tarnished yet.

This stew is actually very useful in tough situations and can also be used to get some crafting materials.

In this article, I will show you How to Use Scorpion Stew in Shadow of the Erdtree.

Use Scorpion Stew in Shadow of the Erdtree to boost physical damage negation and restore HP slowly during tough battles, or trade it with Hornsent for crafting materials.

In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Scorpion Stew is a consumable item given to you by the Hornsent Grandam in the Storeroom of Belurat Tower Settlement.

To access this room, you’ll need to retrieve the Storeroom Key from the Settlement, which is located near the Small Private Altar Site of Grace.

When you first talk to the Hornsent Grandam, she gives you the Watchful Spirit Incantation.

If you visit her regularly afterward, she’ll start giving you Scorpion Stew. Keep checking in with her, and eventually, she’ll upgrade to giving you Gourmet Scorpion Stew.

Consuming Scorpion Stew boosts your physical damage negation and slowly restores your HP. Gourmet Scorpion Stew provides the same benefits, but even better. This makes it great to use before or during tough battles.

Alternatively, you can give the Scorpion Stew to the Hornsent NPC. In return, he’ll give you three Furnace Visages, which you can use to craft Hefty Furnace Pots. You’ll need one of these later in a place called the Ruins of Unte.

Gifting the Scorpion Stew to Hornsent doesn’t affect any dialogue or quests involving Hornsent or the Hornsent Grandam.
