In Dragon’s Dogma 2, the adventure continues after the main story. In the post-game, you’ll face tougher enemies and need rare resources to upgrade your gear.

Eldricite is essential for enhancing some weapons and armor to level 2. Though the game hints at which enemies drop Eldricite, finding them can be hard.

I will show you How To Get Eldricite in Dragon’s Dogma 2 in this article and how you can forge them if you already have one.

How To Get Eldricite in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

To get Eldricite in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you need to defeat Spectres. These ghost-like creatures are purple instead of blue and show up in the endgame when you enter the Unmoored World through the true ending.

You might also find Eldricite before the endgame if you have a Pawn with the Forager Specialization near the Sacred Arbor.

Eldricite is a special material from Specters, used to upgrade your gear in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

You can only find Eldricite in the Unmoored World during the postgame. Here, Specters appear as ghostly purple clouds and can be found any time of day.

Earlier in the game, Specters are light blue, appear only at night, and don’t drop Eldricite.

To get Eldricite, go to areas with more Specters. A good spot is southwest of Vernworth.

Eldricite Location in Southwest of Vernworth

Start at Harve Village and head east and south toward the red beacon near Vernworth. This route should help you find at least two Specters.

Other good places include the Misty Marshes northeast of Checkpoint Rest Town and the dried-up shore near Seafloor Shrine.

Once you have enough Eldricite, visit any blacksmith or armory to upgrade your equipment to level 2.

Remember, all blacksmiths and armor vendors will move to Seafloor Shrine – Sacred Grounds once their towns are evacuated.

How To Forge Eldricite in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

Since Specters have a low drop rate for Eldricite, you can forge extra copies once you have one. You can do this at Ibrahim’s Scrap Store for a small fee. Ibrahim can also restore any lost quest items.

In the post-game, all merchants, including Ibrahim, move to Seafloor Shrine – Sacred Grounds due to the evacuation.

Originally, Ibrahim is found in Checkpoint Rest Town, but you’ll now find him at Seafloor Shrine.

When forging Eldricite, remember to rest for no more than 2 days to retrieve your item, as time is limited in the Unmoored World.

What is Eldricite used for in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

In Dragon’s Dogma 2, Eldricite is a special substance you collect by defeating Specters, ghost-like creatures found in the Unmoored World after reaching the game’s true ending.

These Specters are purple and appear anytime during the day. Before the true ending, Specters are light blue and only appear at night.

Once you have Eldricite, you can use it to upgrade your weapons and armor to a higher level of power.

This makes your gear stronger and more effective against tougher enemies you’ll encounter in the game’s later stages.

It’s essential for enhancing your equipment and preparing your character for more challenging battles as you progress through the story.
