In Helldivers 2, you can unlock new weapons, armor, and cosmetics with Warbonds, which you earn by collecting Medals. Here’s how you can quickly and efficiently gather Medals.
To quickly earn Medals in Helldivers 2:
- Complete Personal Order Challenges daily.
- Focus on Eradicate missions, especially on higher difficulties.
- Use Helldive difficulty for missions.
- Open hidden bunkers with your team.
- Destroy marked containers.
- Explore crashed dropships for additional loot.
There are two main ways to get Medals in Helldivers 2:
- Completing Missions: You earn Medals by successfully completing missions.
- Finding Medals in the Field: Medals can also be found during missions.

Completing Personal Order Challenges
Personal Order Challenges are daily objectives shown in the menu’s right corner. They usually involve tasks like killing a specific number of enemy types. Playing Eradicate Missions
Eradicate missions involve defeating a set number of enemies within 12 minutes. These missions are fast and efficient, especially with a full party. They are available for both Terminids and Automaton factions. Completing these missions on Extreme difficulty can earn you 500 XP and 5 Medals, and subsequent missions in the same Operation can yield even more Medals.
Completing Missions on Helldive Difficulty
Selecting Helldive difficulty for missions guarantees the most Medals and valuable rewards. You can adjust the difficulty from the Galactic War screen. Focus on completing primary objectives for the quickest Medal accumulation. Secondary objectives, marked with blue icons, don’t affect the number of Medals earned.
Opening Hidden Bunkers
Hidden bunkers are scattered throughout missions and can be identified by doors with a blue outline and two keypads. Coordinating with a party member is necessary to open these bunkers, which can yield 2-3 Medals each.
Exploding Containers
During missions, look for half-buried cargo containers marked by explosive barrels. Destroying these containers with barrels or grenades can reward you with Medals, support weapons, samples, requisition points, Super Credits, and extra ammo.
Exploring Crashed Ships
Crashed dropships, marked by yellow loot beams, are common sources of loot found during exploration. These ships often contain random loot, including Medals and Super Credits, and are guarded by small enemies and elite or armored foes.
